The Alpine Loop is a back roads mountain
route that connects the towns of Ouray-Silverton-Lake City.
The Loop is approximately 66-70 miles
+ detours. To do the entire Loop will require a 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE.
Exploring off the Loop will require a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
