KLAMATH COUNTY *

Klamath County, Oregon, home to Crater Lake National Park, the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway, and Oregon's City of Sunshine, Klamath Falls. Klamath County is home to approximately 70,000 people, with about 21,000 of those people residing in the city limits of Klamath Falls. Klamath County is situated in south central Oregon. The county is bounded on the south by California, on the east by Lake County, on the north by Deschutes County, and on the west by Jackson and Douglas Counties. The county, Oregon's fourth largest, has 6,135 square miles.

LAKE COUNTY *

Lake County was established on October 24, 1874 and named so because of the numerous large lakes within its borders. Located in the south central high desert of Oregon, Lake County covers 8,275 square miles and has an estimated population of 7895 residents. Economy consists primarily on agriculture, timber, livestock. Recreational opportunities abound.
