  • GENERAL INFORMATION: Trees. Sloping and somewhat steep. High above IH 70. The only access to the claim is an abandoned branch from the from the 7:30 Mine Road, which is itself closed to vehicles (hiking only). The abandoned section is impassable for all practical matters. The abandoned road originally cut across a large tailings like, but it is almost completely washed away. The terrain is unbelievably harsh and steep. The 7:30 Mine Road is the only road in the area that it still passable, and the closest section of porter is a minimum 30 minute grueling hike from it.
    Once on the claim it is too steep to hike up, it requires a long detour to the east and back up to the upper workings.
    The lower tailings pile is covered with bushes, and the main adit is mostly collapsed with standing water and debris in the tunnel, a constant flow of water seeping out of the collapse.
    The upper tailings has a completely collapsed adit, and almost no flat space left to stand. I could not access the space between the adits on the claim.
